Modern Day Loincloth - My #1 Shorts

But that's because I only have four pairs of shorts. 3 of them are Maui Rippers, and the 4th gets no wear no more. So these are my number 1s because of Mr Tako on the side. My second favorite are the 2012 version of the Blue Tribal design...with 2 pockets. I am a dive instructor in the Philippines so these are perfect for my living conditions. I have had both of these for a year and wear them swimming, running, drinking, eating, diving, lounging, and to the gym. They are easy to wash, here's how: rub some soap onto the shorts (optional), put them on, grab your swim goggles, go for a 30 minute swim in the ocean, relax and have a San Miguel....depending on the humidity, they will easily dry within the hour. The colors hold strong, embroidered design fully intact. While scuba diving I use a carabiner and the key string in pocket to leash my GoPro. If you are not wearing them running or to the gym, commando is an option. What I don't care for is the lack of stretch in the fabric, something nice to have for those leg workouts at the gym. I think the Ripper stretch may be the perfect answer to that dilemma.
